Mumitha Madhu is an Assistant Professor in the Postgraduate Department of Sociology, Sacred Heart College (East Campus), Thevara. She is an experienced professional with a strong background in qualitative research, editorial work, and academic support. Her areas of interest include Sociology of Food, Cultural Studies, Diaspora Studies, Gender Studies, Science, Technology and Society.

Experience

Before joining Sacred Heart College, she spent nearly four years as an Editorial Assistant for Society and Culture in South Asia, a peer-reviewed journal published by Sage. She also briefly worked as a Journal Submission Specialist at Cactus Communications. In addition, she is a freelance Interpreter/ Translator and Proofreader.
